As you know, we are always looking for unique sound instruments. We discovered a producer in our own country: Andromeda Gongs. These gongs come about completely differently from the other gongs we have in our range. Maker and blacksmith is Jesse Blauwhof who has been inspired by Ton Akkermans and Carolina Schomper, two authorities in the world of sound.

Jesse's gongs focus on the power of intention. In this process of inner work, meditation and concentration, the instruments he builds take on spiritual qualities. 
Andromeda Gongs are made of brass and hammered with thousands of blows all over the surface. These gongs not only look impressive but the intention with which Jesse forges them is palpable. 

We are going to use these special gongs alongside the fantastic Paiste and Gongland gongs from Germany and the quirky Italian gongs from Grotta Sonore in our product range.
