The highlight of each year for us are the two 'big' concerts we give in Weesp's beautiful old Grote Kerk.
This year, we will perform two special improvisations inspired by 'the ether'. This fifth element is the all-encompassing space and potentiality in which the play of earth, water, air and fire can take place.
What can you expect?
The space fills with sound and silence. The harmonising sounds of gongs and singing bowls, percussion and other (overtone) instruments allow you to relax completely and the attention moves beyond the story-world of the mental, emotional and physical body. The usual resistances dissolve and you are back at home in space (the fifth element) of essential Silence.
Exactly where and how this works out for you will become apparent during the evening.

Besides us, some 25 musicians will play along to make this happen. You'll hear the final line-up at a later date but in terms of instruments you can expect to see, among others: soprano, piano, choir, flute, percussion, double bass, organ, soundscapes, gongs and singing bowls.
For these concerts, we offer both reclining and seating. There is also a disabled entrance in the church. The concert lasts about 1.5 hours.
The concerts will be held in the Grote kerk (Laurens kerk) on Nieuwstraat 31 in Weesp. On Friday, the concert starts at 9pm and on Saturday at 8.30pm. The doors of the church will open one hour beforehand. Make sure you are on time as the doors will be locked the moment the concert starts.
Don't forget to bring your own mat, pillow and possibly blanket so you can relax on the stone church floor.
If you have a seat do not forget to bring a blanket so that you are warm. Please note that the heating of the church is not on during this period.
