FRIDAY 9 June 2017: The Manifest & the Unmanifest Full-Moon concerts

Tickets left ONLY BEFORE 11.30pm!

This Friday night and evening we will give two concerts in the tradition 'The Manifest and the Unmanifest' in the beautiful Grote Kerk in Weesp. The full moon will accompany us these concerts and is symbolically seen as the mother-goddess or sky-queen, in any case as a female celestial body receiving the light of the sun.

Each full moon has a unique energy to which a meaning can be given. Ultimately, you are the one who can best interpret what the full moon means to you. The full moon of 9 June is sometimes called the flower moon and represents inner growth. When we lie in that magical whirlwind of sounds, any sense of separateness from other people and the world around us disappears. Time and space dissolve into the silent essence that you essentially are.

Naturally, we have many guests joining us again this evening. Besides our 30 gongs, the following guests will play along:

Aleksandra Anisimowicz - soprano and piano
Mickey Wagner - vocal
Bas Borkus - vocal
Joost van Loon - vocal
Pieter Bodewits - vocal
Michael Telapary - Indian flute
Hans Karssen - didgeridoo
Djoeke Klijzing - cello
Fons Brouwer - large organ
Siem Ranoesetiko - percussion
Frans de Rond - soundscapes
Spirit Connection - gongs, overtone instruments and crystal

These concerts are recumbent concerts because it is about the inner experience of it all and not the visual spectacle. For people who cannot lie down, it is always possible to attend these concerts seated. There is also a disabled entrance in the church. The concert lasts about 1.5 hours.

The cost is €39 per person/per concert. The concerts will be held in the Grote kKerk (Laurens kerk) on Nieuwstraat 31 in Weesp on Friday 9 June at 20.00 hrs and at 23.30 hrs. The doors of the church will open at 19.00 and 22.30 respectively. Be on time as the doors will lock once the concerts start.

Bring a mat, pillow and blanket so you can lie back and relax.
