Gong description
The distinctive sound of Paiste Planets gongs is similar to symphonic gongs with a diameter of 20″ - 38″.
Planetary gongs are tuned in accordance with the natural harmonic series of the Earth, Moon, Sun and Planets, by calculations by Hans Cousto. As a result, they resonate in harmony with the rotations of astronomical celestial bodies and communicate a distinct aspect of the "music of the spheres", which has been written about for centuries.
The sound colour is very mysterious and brings an unusual, elusive atmosphere.
