Samadhi gongs -
The Silent Encounter with Yourself

Samadhi gongs are manufactured exclusively for Spirit Connection, in small series and with a clear spiritual intention. They are tailored to the work that takes place here: retreats, ceremonies, sound journeys and meditative gatherings in which silence is the guiding force.

These gongs were not chosen for their volume or drama, but for their ability to open up space. The Sound Chapel forms the natural bed for this: a place where sound does not need to convince, but is allowed to emerge. In the Sound Chapel, you experience Samadhi gongs not as an object but as a field, a resonance that opens up as soon as you listen.

Why The Samadhi has its own place in the Sound Chapel

Samadhi does not sound spectacular, but present. The resonance supports the release of tension, conditioning and mental noise, allowing stillness to emerge naturally.

This makes Samadhi particularly suitable for meditation, consciousness work and ritual settings.

The sound of Samadhi

  • deep, soft ground tones that immediately
can be felt in the body
  • a clear but not sharp overtone field
  • a long, carrying sustain that invites stillness
  • a sound that opens without steering or forcing

This makes Samadhi particularly suitable for meditation, consciousness work and ritual settings

Vision supports inner perception, contemplation and clear presence. Particularly suitable for meditation, yoga and individual sessions.

Shanti

Gentle, harmonising and connecting.

Shanti creates a peaceful sound field that supports relaxation and inner peace. Ideal for ceremonies, silence sessions and group work.

Siddharta

Deep, layered and carried.

This series has a grounding and deepening effect, inviting stillness beyond thinking. Great for inner journey work, retreats and longer meditations.

All Samadhi gong series are available in 33” (84 cm) and 37” (94 cm), depending on space, application and intensity.

Craftsmanship, experimentation and uniqueness

Each Samadhi gong is handcrafted, carefully hammered and tuned. Production is small-scale and quality control high. No two gongs are identical.
Each Samadhi carries its own sound field and character, its own soul.

This is why live experience is essential.
You choose a Samadhi not with your head, but with your body.

The Samadhi gong Hearing, feeling and meeting in the Sound Chapel

At the Sound Chapel, we, Harry and Gwen, bring our passion for sound to life. It is a place where time slows down and listening takes on a deeper meaning. Here it is not about selling, but about the encounter between man and instrument.

Selected on Resonance

Our collection is hand-selected, fuelled by our years of experience guiding retreats and workshops. We choose instruments that not only make sound, but act as an energetic anchor point.

Design and Intention

Samadhi gongs carry an understated symbolism, a symbol of balance, awakening and inner focus. The finish is deliberately sober and intentional. Not decorative, but supportive of meditation and focus. Shape, material and sound are developed in conjunction, so that the gong not only sounds but also tangibly “speaks”. Samadhi is thus both instrument and ritual object....

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Samadhi gong and an ordinary gong?

Samadhi gong is distinguished by a unique forging process focused on sound healing and deep meditation. Whereas a standard gong often has a powerful, explosive sound, the Samadhi gong is characterised by complex overtones and an extremely long resonance. These vibrations act directly on the nervous system, helping to achieve a deep meditative state (Samadhi) and physical relaxation.

Yes, you do not need any experience with meditation or sound work. The sounds of a quality gong work intuitively; the vibrations naturally help you sink out of your head and into your body. For ‘The Exploratory Seeker’, it is a safe and approachable way to experience silence without requiring active performance or spiritual prior knowledge.

At Spirit Connection, you can physically test gongs in our listening room, so you can experience without ‘sales pressure’ which instrument resonates with your practice as a sound worker or therapist.

In the sound therapy Samadhi gongs are used as a tool to soothe blockages and activate the body's self-healing capacity.
