31 May - Living Room Concert with special guest: Michael Telapary
EXCLUDING RECUMBENT CONCERTS
On Sunday morning, we open the Sound Chapel for a special living room concert, together with special guest: Michael Telapary. Michael is known for his intuitive and spirited playing on the Native flute. His way of playing moves freely between melody and silence, adding a warm, earthy layer to the sound field of gongs, crystal bowls and overtone instruments.
In this unique meeting of sound, a meditative sound journey emerges in which different instruments carry and reinforce each other. The flute moves through the sound field like a breath, sometimes leading, sometimes listening, interweaving with the resonance of the gongs and bowls.
The concert starts from the principle of yin & yang - the masculine and feminine aspects present in each of us. The interplay moves on the waves of these two qualities and takes you beyond polarity to the oneness we essentially are.
It will be a recumbent concert in which sound takes you through different layers of your personal experience to the impersonal and unconditional field of love:
I AM.
We start with a short introduction and a guided meditation. This will be followed by the concert. Afterwards, there will be room for coffee or tea with a small snack. Those who want to can share their experience, but there is also the possibility to spend some time in silence.
