Workshops with Grotta Sonora 

Margarita and Madhava of Grotta Sonora return to conduct another series of workshops with us, taking participants into the world of their unique musical instruments and sound sculptures. Their gongs and other creations are internationally renowned for their distinctive sound and artisanal design.

On Friday and Saturday, we offer what you might call Level I. Sunday is Level II, which is open only to those who have already completed Level I. If you took part in our workshop last year, you can register directly for level II. You can also book both days now.

These are full-day workshops where Margarita and Madhava share their craftsmanship and show how their instruments are handmade with precision and intention. They also explore how to offer a sound bath, where different instruments interact to create rich and layered sound experiences.

You will also get the chance to play their instruments yourself, using different beaters/mallets and gong rubbers, and experiment with combinations under their and our guidance.

Each workshop concludes with a meditative concert performed by Margarita and Madhava with their sound instruments.

Tickets

Cost: €139 per day including vegetarian lunch, coffee tea and other goodies.

When you buy Grotta Sonora products over €1000, you will get €75 return (within two months of the workshop).

The workshops take place in an intimate, small setting of up to 19 people.
