A journey inwards through sound.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>

On the floodplains of the old Meuse river bordering De Keent nature reserve, you will find our sound chapel. A lovely serene environment to come home to and feel at home in.\u00a0<\/p>

The power of sound<\/i><\/strong><\/p>

In sound, we meet and are together. The personal dissolves into impersonal awareness in which the spontaneous, unique moment unfolds. Through sound you can (further) deepen the layers of your being.<\/p>

What can you expect?<\/i><\/strong><\/p>

With everything we do, the meditative quality of sound is central. Always tuning into silence. You will learn the underlying meaning of gong and gong baths. You will play and listen to gongs, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls and other overtone instruments yourself. You will learn to give your own sound baths, gong and sound meditations and play in groups. Refinement of your playing technique such as controlling the volume of your playing.<\/p>

You will also meditate on sound and learn to tune yourself to and with the gong.<\/p>

During the retreat, we regularly do light Pranayama and Qi Gong exercises.<\/p>

CEREMONIES<\/i><\/strong><\/p>

A programme component is a cacao ceremony<\/i> in which you play the gong with 'facing your inner child'<\/i> as an intention.<\/p>

And as a finale, we do the nightly gongpuja<\/i>. A ritual where we spend 7.5 hours together during the night. The gongs are played non-stop in rotation by the participants. In addition, you lie down to sleep and\/or meditate. Due to the duration of the puja, a complete reset of body-mind follows. The mental, emotional and physical becomes super-conductive, causing the ego's usual resistance to dissolve into unconditional being. A beautifully purifying experience as a finale.<\/p>

For whom.<\/i><\/strong><\/p>

This retreat is for anyone interested in or seeking inspiration in the power of sound. It is an excellent introduction as well as a deepening insight into each person's own inner journey. Also, you refine your playing techniques.<\/span><\/p>

BOOKINGS<\/h4>

\"Overlangel<\/a>The retreat takes place in an intimate, small setting of a maximum of 12 people. So DO NOT WAIT TOO LONG.<\/strong><\/p>

During the last night of the gongpuja, you will stay with us at the property. You have to book the two preceding nights yourself (including breakfast).
There are ample hotels and B&Bs nearby. For example, check out: BedandBreakfast.co.uk<\/a>, AirBnB.com<\/a> or Booking.com<\/a> for options. We have now discovered some nice B&Bs and would be happy to help you search. If you come by public transport, you will be picked up from the station and returned
reduced.<\/p>

The daily programme is from about 9am to 9.30pm.<\/p>

What an experience!<\/strong><\/h3>

Surrounded by gongs, surrounded by singing bowls. Being open to their vibrations and resonance. I let it happen and surrender to the gongs and singing bowls and let myself be carried away by their invitation and vibrate with them. The dance of my sound, the dance of the gongs and singing bowls, being one with what is. Coming home. I float and get carried away in my own story. And in between, there is silence. Silence that is always there. Silence from which sounds emerge. Again and again, always different sounds.<\/i><\/p>
