The Wheel of Sound - Inner Journey | 22 to 24 April | The Light House,\u00a0<\/strong>Zandvoort<\/h4>

This year, we are again hosting a three-day gong retreat at the beautiful Lichthuis in Zandvoort. This former church is an inspiring contemporary centre, an oasis of stillness and contemplation. A location with luxurious and comfortable flats and rooms, delicious vegetarian food and a five-minute walk from the beach.<\/p>

During this retreat, we prepare for the final nightly gongpuja<\/i>. This is a ritual where we spend 6.5 hours together during the night. The gongs are played non-stop in rotation by the participants. In addition, you lie down to sleep and\/or meditate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Preparations beforehand include: playing the gongs with and for each other, meditation and breathing techniques, and moving with and through sound.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

During the gongpuja<\/i> through the field of sound and resonances, the feeling of separation from other people and the world around you disappears. Time and space dissolve into your essential silence. The mental, emotional and physical aspects of your body become super-conductive and regenerative, allowing the ego's habitual resistance to dissolve into unconditional being.<\/p>

For whom.<\/i><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

This retreat is for anyone interested in or seeking inspiration in the power of sound. It is an excellent introduction, but also as a deepening insight into each person's own inner journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The Wheel Of Sound is an amazing experience and perception. Not only the gong feels like a warm bath... but also the guidance of Gwen and Harry.<\/i><\/p>

Lovely preparations for the gong puja... everything was thought of and tailored to the group.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>

The vibrations of the gongs increase the resonance in me and in the group .<\/i><\/p>
